Note: Your blog host has added this special sub-section - exclusively on trees - to augment the section on mountains and lakes, since all these works of mother nature belong to the forest. - ed.

"Bending Arms Reaching for the Sky" - Birch trees in autumn splendor.

"Tall Red Pine Hoods on the Way to Gramma's House"

"The Icy Breath of Old Man Winter" - This extremely rare image was taken right before the melting of the snow and hoar frost on the branches in the ravine of this miniature forest. Note the pathway on the lower right.

"Color Canopy" - Blog host serendipitously stumbled upon this rainbow of colors illuminating the forest sky. In "Dixie" (Southern Utah), we see here a rare display of all three colors of the Quaking Aspens: red, orange and yellow.

"Ancient Forest" - This bevy of primordial giants was discovered by blog host, many a moon ago. It was whilst hiking near an old mining camp road at the zenith of one of the Wasatch's tallest mountains.
